It seems this year along with a new album titled Humanoid the boys of Tokio Hotel have really taken this "new" sound thing to heart. Not only is their new single "Automatic" also metal related but Bill decided to to act the part and dub a metal ring similar to the infamous metal glove worn by Beyoncé in her "Single Ladies" video.

Lady GaGa

A newer artist named Lady GaGa (real name Stefani Germanotta) made a big splash on the music scene in her debut in early 2008 catching everyone's eye with her out-of-this-world outfits. Most seem space and metal related including some of her more extreme outfits with a full metal body suit.

Beyoncé

Not to be one upped Beyoncé released her new album this year "I Am... Sasha Fierce" and alter ego that comes complete with a full metal body suit. In music videos such as "Single Ladies", "Sweet Dreams", "Ego", and "Diva" her numerous metal adornments. 

Thierry Mugler and Dolce&Gabanna

Famous designers Dolce&Gabanna and Thierry Mugler also for this fashion season has designed a wardrobe of fashionable metal suits that have been worn by celebrities such as Lady GaGa in her "Paparazzi" video and Beyoncé.

Audrey Kitching

American scene queen Audrey Kitching has followed suit having a futuristic inspired photoshoot. Humanoid much?

There have been strange trends in the past but this one by far seems to be the most celebrity fueled it's now only a matter of time before you see someone with a metal glove walking through your grocery store. So sit back and be prepared it's a Humanoid invasion!

Well yes, according to the next launches announced by the Fnac the new one album of Tokio Hotel goes on sale June 30 in Spain. It is said that June 26 in Germany and perhaps in the German speech countries but here on the 30 to international level. Remains completely clear that is not official information on the part of Universal and of the band but yes on the part of Fnac.

Some major news as an update for you now regarding the album (from Cherry Tree Records):

In a completely unexpected move, Cherrytree records have pulled the plug on the English version of Tokio Hotel’s new album. 
Cherrytree/Interscope Records CEO Mark Williams reports that, due to the increasing amount of pressure and workload that is plaguing the band, Cherrytree has decided to drop the English version of the new album.
“The boys have been under increasing stress to deliver this album within the required date,” explains Tokio Hotel’s producer David Jost. “Having to record two albums, both in a different language has really taken its toll on the quality of songs, and also the bands health.” According to Jost, the boys are really upset.
The new album, set to be released in June, will be the third album Tokio Hotel has produced. And the first album with their new contract with Cherrytree Records. It was set to be recorded in German and in English, so it is to cater to fans all over the world.
Tokio Hotel have been unavailable for comment, though their management assures us that they are extremely upset by this turn of events.
“Tokio Hotel has been working really hard on the new album, sometimes even giving up their sleep just to get it right,” Jost says. “The pressure of recording one album is enough for them, once they have finished their world tour, next year they will record an English album.”

Now we all know that that is some pretty intense news and let us all understand that the boys health is much more important than a new CD and Australia will always be here and waiting for them to show their love and support.
